I think this website is Not Bad
I have only just got into Porridge. I have all the DVDs but am missing the Christmas specials. I have never seen Going Straight as I was not born when was shown on tv. I would like to see them very much. Found the site very informative but look old. Thanx for reading

I have just discovered the series, believe it or not! I have liked the film a few years but only recently bought the DVDs, thanks to Britain's Best Sitcom. Don't agree that Porridge comes below a lot of the ones above it. Keep up the good work with this very informative site. Mackay rules!

Great site! Porridge is my favourite programme and I was bitterly disappointed when it only came 7th in Britain's Best Sitcom. I have never seen Going Straight, but I'm dying to. Does anyone know if it is ever going to be out to buy or will it be shown on TV again?

Although porridge was not officially voted "Britains Best Sit-com" We all know that it is an all time great never to be out-classed. There can be nothing to beat an evening in with the inmates and staff of Slade Prison. Absolutely wonderful. This site is a stunner. Well done!!

The rigged boxing match was from Series 2 in the episode entitled "The Harder They Fall". All 3 series are available on DVD but unfortunately this does not yet include the Christmas Specials. Neither has Going Straight ever been released on DVD or Video.

I'd like to ask you what episode it was where there was a rigged boxing match where both boxers hit the deck at the same time and I'd also like too know if it's on dvd? and are the 2 xmas specials are avalible on dvd?

Porridge was a great programme. It is a shame that only a few of the inmates of Slade prison are still with us.
