Ronnie Barker passed away on October 3rd 2005 aged 76. British comedy has lost a lengendary actor and his talent and wit will be sorely missed. Hopefully this website will continue to run and pay tribute to a great actor's amazing achievements and life! I personally feel that the likes of Ronnie Barker will never be seen in comedy again, and he was a one-off talent with so much to give. RIP the legend, thoughts are with his family at this time.

October 4, 2005. A truly sad day. Ronnie was one of, if not THE, country's greatest comic actors. And in my view, Porridge was his finest hour. Thanks for all the laughs.
